RE: received money owed from washington mutual

I sent a letter to the state attorney generals office. They sent a letter to washington mutual. This has helped.

Just last week washington mutual sent me a check for the remaining money they owed me.

They also stated they will clear my credit at the various credit bureaus.

I don't know if it would be proper to post the complaint now.

What do you think I should do?

I have been battleing washington for over a year and they have caused me many problems and many sleepless nights and they should not go unpunished.

RE: Washington Mutual - reporting wrong information to credit bureaus - unable to fix problem, despite calling and writing

I used to have my two loans with fleet mortgage. I never had a problem with them.

Then fleet sold my loans to washington mutual.

Then washington mutual starting reporting past due on my loans to the credit bureau.

I am in real estate. I borrow money all the time to buy more real estate.

Now no one will loan me money because washington mutual is reporting 30 days past due on one of my loans.

Washington Mutual is showing me ahead on one loan and past due on another loan.

I have written them and called them and they will not correct their bookeeping problem.

I have another problem with washington mutual.

One of my rent houses burned. It was a small kitchen fire. The loss was 24,000.

Allstate Insurance made the check out to me and washington mutual. I called washington mutual.

They said for me to mail them the check, and they would sign it and send it back.

A month went by. They sent the check back to me not signed. They then changed their story.

They said I had to send them the check with my signature and they would hold my money and pay me

as I completed my remodeling. I completed the remodeling 4 months ago. Washington Mutual sent me

part of the money but will not send me the balance of over 8,000.

I have been calling them and writing to them for 5 months about my money. They say the check is in the mail

but I still have not received it.

I need a lawyer. I need a lawyer who will work on a contigency bases.
