I had tried to cancel AOL/Broadband six months ago. I called them up and they told me that I needed to talk to the cancel Broadband which apparently is another phone number.

 

I called that number I must have been on hold for an hour when I did finally get through they simply hung up. I thought something was wrong with the phone! called again went through the same waiting process. When I got through it HUNG UP AGAIN.

 

I heard through other complaints that they do not respond to emails the "TECHNICAL" department does not handle cancellations.

 

My sister recently left AOL and went to another provider saying the service was cheaper and better, and to cancel she had to go through a three ring circus to leave. I am personally disgusted by AOL.

 

I am thinking about just cutting them off my credit card and waiting for them to contact me !!! when they do I will HANG UP ON THEM!!!!

 

If anyone knows another way beside playing ruff with AOL, let me know?
