After outstanding 5 Star reviews I decided to try to buy a CD by "The Innocence Mission" called "Befriended", on 10th November 2003 dispatch was within three days according to Amazon's site. I was excited and anticipated a quick delivery of some beautiful music. On 19th November 2003 I read somewhere that the release date was 24th November 2003 and whilst sad at being misled saw no point in changing supplier. Today (24th November 2003) mid-morning, I received an e-mail from Amacon telling me of another 4-6 week delay, no reason given. What are they up to ? Over promise and under deliver, is that their mission ? I feel very very saddened by their conmanship, my local HMV had the disc in store, top service with no hassle. Please post this on your site, this behaviour by Amazon smacks of deliberate trickery and iffy corporate governance. Thank you, Jon
