Can you kindly advise whether this company is still in business: U.S.A. Immigration Services. I signed up for the Diversity Visa Lottery on 13th. August 2003 with this company, and paid then US$70.00 processing fee. It appears that the company's internet site has disappeared. It used to be WWW.usais.org Have I lost my money?

I think you've been scammed. You should not have to pay to enter the lottery. Here's what the government says too:

"Please Note: There have been instances of fraudulent websites posing as official U.S. Government sites. Some companies posing as the U.S. Government have sought money in order to "complete" lottery entry forms. There is no charge to download and complete the Electronic Diversity Visa Entry Form. The Department of State notifies successful Diversity Visa applicants by letter, and NOT by email."

For more information you can go to the REAL Diversity Visa webpage here:

Good luck
