Today November 22, 2003. Poland Spring was supposed to deliver water between 8am to 12noon, to my apartment in Hollis, NY. I called sometime in the morning to confirm the delivery only to find out that they did not intend to deliver. They told me that the delivery man is afraid of the neighborhood.

That he is afraid that he might be mugged. Therefore, they can not deliver. This is called redlinning. They don't want to deliver because this is a predominantly black neighborhood and they are afraid they might be mugged.

As a black person, I will never purchase anything of this company and its subsidiaries again. And I encourage every black person to do the same. Victoria Ayo-Vaughan
