RE: AOL - 6 months free trail ended - began to get billed, despite not using service - being double billed for AOL service I purchased my computer last year, which gave me a free 6mo trial to AOL, I used my bank debit card, as although this was free service, credit card was required.

In January of 2003 due to blocks from AOL I changed services to NETZERO, (at this point the free AOL was not up), beginning 4/03 AOL began billing my bank card for a monthly service fee, this was after I had not even used the provider for 3 mo.

I have contacted AOL by phone, was transferred at least 3 times, then told by the rep that she would cancel, however AOL HAD NOT billed...I have all of the bank statements showing the AOL debit...I did a EMAIL with this complaint again to AOL and had NO response whatsoever.....

Sometime around July or August 2003-my kids talked me into going back to AOL (against my better judgement) & we again use this service, however the billing goes directly to my mastercard each mo....

So now I double pay for AOL each and every month and I want it stopped!

I want credit and refunded for the fees from 4/03 thru present (which in checking my bank account last night, yet again another AOL debit for November has been debited) which is well over $100++! and I want it NOW or I will again cancel the AOL and go elsewhere for internet service! and file a Warrant-n-debt against AOL for my money & the time I spent just trying to get this taken care of.

I like AOL, its very user friendly, but when it comes to billing & complaints i give AOL a big fat F. I hope to get a response to this E-Mail...but I won't hold my breath...
