RE: Time Warner Cable - broadband installation caused PC to crash - have requested help in getting PC repaired over 2 times in three month period
Time Warner Cable came to install broadband approximately 3 months ago...while the techs were here they clearly ruined my computer as it crashed immediately after they left. I have since complained and requested assistance in getting this repaired in excess of 12 times over this three month period.
I have spoken with Supervisors and techs. John Doss, the Installation Supervisor is the original tech that started this problem. Time Warner has since advised me over the phone to run a "GW Scan" which completely wipes out my computer and therefore caused me to loose program files and pictures of my baby, as well as other important information.
Another Supervisor that came out Sean Maltda, and he informed me that since Time Warner Cable caused this problem they would replace my computer. When confronted with this statement he denied that he ever said that. Clearly, I take serious issue with the fact that in the 4 years that I have had this computer it has never crashed - until John Doss messed with it. Today, November 13, 2003, Sean Maltda and Dirk Snyder came out from TimeWarner to attempt to correct the problem. Dirk opened the computer and proceeded to say that dust had accumulated thereby causing the processor to overheat and causing the system to crash.
My question is "Did dust just appear?" Again, in 4 years this computer has not crashed until John Doss got involved. I am requesting your assistance in getting this matter solved. As you and I both know, computers are not cheap and I trusted Time Warner to probably install my computer - not ruin it. Sincerely, Tracy Ray P.S. I have two witness that can attest to the facts stated above From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Saturday, 15-Nov-03 00:00:00 CST Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
