They not only sell the game and advertise it as costing one price and charging another upon checkout. I was informed after the fact that they don't give refunds.
That is not on their web site anywhere, at least it wasn't back in August when I purchased this game, Book Worm Deluxe. That being the case and they know it should be posted on their game site, but it wasn't when I purchased this game.
It took them until two weeks ago to decide that they wasn't going give me a refund, even though I started to complain the very next day after purchasing this game. I was given the run around for a month before their billing department gave me a straight forward answer as to my complaint. I kept everyone of the complaints that I sent to them. Now I must file a complaint with the BBB about their practice. This is America and you can't sell defective merchandise and not provide refunds to customers who aren't satisfied..
There are enough scam artist already on the internet, therefore you don't expect a company who has had a good reputation, until now, to stoop to such low life tactics in this situation as other scam artist of the net.
Because of this incident, I will no longer purchase anything from Yahoo or any company connected to Yahoo. If the parent company carry on this type of conduct, then other companies affiliated with them can do the sam without the fear consequences. One wouldn't think that such a reputable company would stoop to such low tactics in my situation, when conducting business with me.
