My biggest complaint is the stonewalling I've gotten from Fleetwood -- but read their wonderful Warranty information on their webpage. They claim to have a one year warranty and great customer service...which is absolutely untrue in my experience. I bought my home new in August of this year...It is now November...and Fleetwood will not answer my letters, faxes, emails or phone calls. Some of the things that need to be addressed: There is no rack in the dishwasher. The front panel for the furnace is broken so I can't put the panel on...I am continually blowing out circuits when running the washer or dryer or a little air purifyer (because of the smoke in the air from the local fires)...
Both toilets had to be fixed...and there is a serious leak under one of the bathroom sinks, which caused the water to leak through the wall, floor, etc. The floor is sloping downward already, and there is a large crack in the wall and no baseboards. I mentioned to them that whoever put up the towel bars, toilet paper holders, cabinets, etc., had to be drunk because they are all crooked...I could do better just by sight. A lot of little things, yes, but why have a dishwasher if you can't use it, and I would like to be able to use the furnace (the panel holds the furnace filter in place) as the weather gets colder...Would like to be able to use the bathroom sink too, and put the tops back on the toilet tanks. Lack of response from "customer service" seems to be a common complaint about Fleetwood.
