GE Coffee Maker - holding new 12 cup coffee maker together with a rubber band

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on November 8, 2002:

From: RE: GE Coffee Maker - holding new 12 cup coffee maker together with a rubber band

I have the same complaint that Josie Bostic had about the twelve (12) cup coffee maker. Its a shame I have to take a new product and hold it togather with a rubber band.

Thanks for any help even if it is a pack of rubber bands.
