From: RE: Sprint PCS - poor experience with Sprint
This is my experience with Sprint PCS. Believe me was not a pleasant one...I had service with Sprint for almost 2years the whole time the dropped calls were an issue, but I knew how to overcome this being an employee of Sprint PCS.
I was doing Customer Service for them. Knowing the work days I had with them I had never called in to complain of anything on my account before; unfortunately I was in one of the 5 call centers that was closed down, due to not having a profitable quarter. So deciding that the service was really not that great I would cancel.
My last day working I called customer service and requested the cancellation department. The woman I spoke with explained that I was on 1yr agreement on one of the phones on my account due to the situation I explained this person was moving and I was not satisfied with service, plus loosing my job and all....She agreed not to charge that one phone the cancellation charge.
The day that the phones were to cancel was at the end of the cycle knowing all about proration I didn't want any further issues with them as far as billing. That morning I was awakened early in the morning by a phone call on my sprint phone, someone in my family had passed away. Not thinking well my phone should be off I called another member of the family. Total time talked was less than 10min including both phone calls.
Later that day I called customer service realizing the service was still working, the rep. explained that nothing was noted to cancel service I told her but I wanted it canceled and no proration charges she said she understood would cancel right away.
It was shut off, I received my bill almost a week later knowing they bill month in advance and called once again from my new cell phone with Cingular, to get the charges removed. They would not remove them asking for supervisor, would not get me one so I hung up called right back to get someone else, They still would not let me have the credit they charged me for both monthly service charges on both phones.
I then requested service to be turned back on since mid cycle and paying for it, as long as it would cancel at the end of the cycle as requested the 1st time. They refused to turn back on and refused to give me any credit.
It's been about 5months since all this happened and I just received a collection notice from Encore stating the amount I owe, I know it really is hurting my credit, but I was treated like dog sh.. on a shoe, I was a loyal employee and customer. So they can take that amount and write it off....To the Accounts Receivable Dept of Sprint PCS...
Yours Truly, Anne D. bitter about PCS
P.S. I don't have a spending limit, deposit and I got a free phone with cingular oh and they waived my activation fee because I was leaving Sprint HAHA From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Friday, 08-Nov-02 00:00:00 CST Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
