Sony music system MHC-Z100 SYSTEM - fixed 8 times under warranty - still not working correctly

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on November 6, 2002:

Dear Sir, Subject: problem of sony music system MHC-Z100 SYSTEM

I purchased the above system on 19th feb 2001 and after one week the system started to develop defects. The set was attended about 8 to 9 times during one year of warranty.

The Tape mechanism was changed twice. Now the audio output which was supposed to be 4000 Watt PMPO at maximum level (as mentioned on the set) is now too low and it may not match even 500 watt PMPO. I have paid Rs 34,900/ for the system and purchased it from the authorised dealer of Balasore. I have frequently written to SONY India, New Delhi about the bad performance of the system and have requested very often to change the system but all was in vain. So I have planned for a consumer case against SONY India. I am writing this letter to you to know whether you can provide me
