Complaints.com, We saw on your site a complaint from Patrick Turner from November 2002 about a problem with Netbiz.com. We are not the same company. We bought the domain name of Netbiz.com in July 2005. We do not and never have given seminars. We are a reseller of Yahoo placement. We are also in good standing with the BBB since June 2004. We need a disclaimer that the current Netbiz.com is not the company in question ASAP. Thank you Connie Sponseller Netbiz.com 503-601-5510
Complaints.com received the following consumer message on November 2, 2002:

April 1999 I attended a seminar put no Netbiz.com in which they promise to help me start my own Internet business. That night I put almost $6,0000 on my credit with the promise that they will get me started with a web site, products called Distressed merchandising and all the support needed to get my internet business started. After two years of paying monthly maintenance fees of $100.00 in addition to other charges and broken promises we had neither web site nor products. Using the information provided at the seminar I made several attempts to contact Netbiz personnel without much success so I decided to stop the monthly maintenance fee.
Then out of the blues comes this company "Leasecom" saying I have a contractual obligation to them in the form of a loan and they want their money. I made several attempts to explain my situation to them to no avail. Leasecom have filed papers to take me to court and this is giving me a bad credit report.
