Oxford American Dictionary definition of VETERAN,"An ex-serviceman or servicewoman". Same Dictionary,VETERAN'S DAY,"November 11,a legal holiday in the US,commemorating the end of World War I and of World War II,and honoring All Veterans."

In Your advertisement in the Birmingham News You say " Veterans Day Special Offer for Active and Reserve US Military employees and their immediate families--in order to take advantage of these great savings you will need to present your Active or Reserve Military I.D."

What about all of us Old Retired Military

Types???????? Your P/R people drooped the ball, as far as a bunch of The Retired Troops are concerned.

Thanks and better luck next time.

Jerry R. Moore,Major Ret. USAF
