I went into the Hancock Fabrics in Hayward for a big sale. It was the sale prior to the Memorial Day sale. I was pregnant at the time and my baby is now six months old. I placed an order for an upholstery book that was on sale 20% off. The lady at the counter stated that I had to pay in full to order. I said that that was what I had intended to do. She filled out an order slip, and insisted that I did not pay until the order was picked up. I insisted that I wanted to pay now.

She said, no, you can pay when you pick it up since you had to wait. I did not argue with her, since there was a line behind me. She stated that it would come in in 6-8 weeks, and I would be called. Like I said I was pregnant at the time, and now my daughter is 6 MONTHS old. I have called the store on a number of occasions, and I have either been hung up on, or someone would put me on hold and forget about me, or they stated they would call me back and did not. All I want is my order at the sale price of 20% off. I do not want to drive all the way to Hayward, about 40 minutes to an hour, to find out that my order is not there or that I can not get it at the sale price. I would appreciate a legitimate attempt at follow through this time. Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you.
