I have been deliberately lied to as a result of this company sending a representative to my home to solicited business. The representative told me after I gave her a check for 2 magazine subscriptions that a representative would call me in two weeks to confirm the order before cashing my check (at which time I could still cancel the order).

This, of course did not happen, and a result is an accounting nightmare. They have already cashed my check, and it is only one week after the visit, and I NEVER RECEIVED THAT PHONE CALL. Deliberately lying to people to get them to order magazines is completely against all ethics in America and I am extremely disheartened.

I don't ever want to see another person solicited at their home and lied to. Never trust these magazine sellers! They are completely dishonest! I wish there was something I could do to reverse this action. Is there some sort of legal action I can take?
