RE: Sharper Image Ionic Breeze - ordered via 5 installment payment plan - charged for entire amount plus shipping up front
I purchased the Ionic Breeze from Sharper Image and took the 5 installment payment plan as advertised with free shipping. I was surprised to find a few days later that my credit card was billed for the entire amount plus the
shipping! I immediately called Sharper Image and was told my credit card would be credited all but the first payment and the shipping charge would be removed. After several phone calls, each telling me the problem was
resolved, I am still awaiting the credit to my card.
This charge maxed out my card, so not only can I not use my credit card but I am now facing a possible overlimit fee. Today, after yet another phone call to Sharper Image I told them if I am billed an overlimit fee they are going to pay it, not me. Can you say false advertising? Their infomercial and website keeps offering the payment plan and free shipping and yet none has happened. I will never buy from them again.
