RE: Cox Communications - ongoing billing problems with Cox cable tv account I am writing to you to complain about Cox Commincations. They are claiming that I am past due and have been for 5 months. I couldn't figure this out and then after talking to so many people in customer service I found out

that a payment that I made on December 20,2002 on their automated system and cleared my bank did not get posted to my cox account. Now they are threatening to shut off my cable.

They sd that anytime I have past due balance it makes my current charges past due as well. I have paid them every month like clockwork on the 16th of each month. I just found out that I am past due. And they have given me until this saturday to pay in full. I asked why they haven't notified me before now, they sd we have you need to pay attention to your bill.

So now I have to get documentation from the bank to prove I paid. They treated me like dirt as if I owed them a million dollars and switched me over to collections. All because of 21.89 which I have already paid. I feel cox communications needs to be auditted and shouldn't we as a conusmer be protected by some kind of law from this type of thing
