They charged our credit card 79.95 for a renewal membership. When we got the bill we called to cancel. We were told that the agreement we agreed to one year ago was that they would email us 15 days prior to renewal date and that we had to opt out in order not to have our credit card billed.
I asked if we had responded to the email They said no. They just go ahead and bill the card if we do not opt out.
We get over 200 pieces of junk mail a day. They said not our problem. They are charging us for the whole year even though we want to cancel in the first month of the renewal period since we called right when we got the bill. There should be no opt out programs allowed on the net.
If someone can bill your credit card without your specific authorization, all programs should be "opt in". Have filed complaint with the state attorney general.
