RE: Sears - poor experiences with Sears washing machine and microwave Sears has a bad habit of making appliancces rtimed to go bad the day the warranty wears out I swear they know. I had a washer that went bad had to have three water pumps in 6 months they swore it was my fault I know I am very careful with my appliances and years later I found out it was them I was so mad I could bite nails, they knew all along it should have been recalled and tried to get some service it went bad almost immediately on purchase.
And them causing me tons of problems at teh time my nearest store was 15 minutes where I purchased it,after dealing with them they refused to service it and insisted I take it one hour away to get service.!I was never rudse or loud with the store they knew what was wrong.
We bought a microwave one year ago and it shot flames out the back wouldnt ya know On the day the warranty runs out I still think it should have lasted longer! Its cheaper to just get a new one than buy that stupiod warranty,so we got a new one.
Supposedly appliances have a five year shelf life.
