WindowsXP - WordPerfect freezing up during use

In January of 2002 our parish bought a new computer and all that is required to run an efficient small office. We made the mistake of purchasing Windows XP.

This program freezes so often, in my view it's useless. I have sent numerous error messages through the Internet and have received not even one response from the compaly.

I like using Wordperfect as a word processor program and it constantly freezes up on me. I have installed this same Wordperfect program on my Windows 98 at home and I have no problems. This is why I strongly feel that Windows XP is the pits..... !!!!!!

Some times when I type the dates in the numerical mode the numbers change to 33996 or whatever. This not happens on my Wordperfect program but also on my Parish Friendly Solutions program. I belive, and am convinced, that it's more than just a conflict between Corel and Windows since my Parish Friendly Solutions program is not a Corel one.

Is there anything you can do to help me. I have to put out my bulletin and I can't get past the loading of my file that it freezes up. Please help me. I sure would appreciate a response.
