Complaints.com received the following on May 18, 2003:

I ordered lenses from Lens. Direct a.k.a. E.lens on April llth from an advertisement in my mailbox. I was told I would not be charged until the order goes out. I should have received the lenses in a few days. Well one month later I receive the lenses. THE WRONG LENSES.
I am fuming at thins point. I called them again and Ester apologized and said the correct lenses would go out tomorrow. That should have been 5/12/03. Today is 5/18/03 and I still have received nothing. However, I was billed again (without my authority) for the lenses I originally ordered. My order was for $120.75 Now I have been charged $241.50 and don't have any lenses I ordered.
This is an outrage. I will go to my bank, police, consumer affairs and any other authorities that will put an end to such an illegal way of doing business. Shame on E.Lens and Alan Bell (who is the supervisor that never returned one of my calls). I think I'll also notify Newday.
