RE: Bidz.com - paid for item and then told item is not available

Based on my personal experience, Bidz is simply pulling items that don't sell well, and reposting them - here's an example.. http://web-1.bidz.com/productDisplay.php?lotid=241398 I won this auction as you can see, for 80$ it's a Pink Bell - Slot machine . valued at some ludicris amount for 4000$ - I saw it online at a slot machine dealer site for 250$ .. trust me. this isnt worth 4 grand.

Here's my research proving this machine goes for 250$ usd

I researched the site to find "pink bell" slot machines to find several of them listed.. here's my search results. http://web-1.bidz.com/Search.php?ca...=&pto=&status=1 this search shows closed items also --

http://web-1.bidz.com/Search.php?ca...=&pto=&status=3

as I post this - the site sais the auction has 15 hours left on the bid.. Here's the problem -- I got this email recently after I bidded on the item, and Paid them -- 135$ total with shipping included - Dear Customer, In an audit of our inventory, listing number #241398 could not be found. This missing item is due to it being previously sold without it's quantity updated in our system and is unavailable for you to purchase. We apologize for this inconvenience. Our tech dept is working continuously to improve our system, as Bidz grows at a very rapid rate, to make sure that problems like this do not happen in the future. Thank you, Customer Service ************************************
