RE: Silkies - billed for unordered pantyhose
My wife received some hose as a special offer with the option of buying more if she chose. She chose not to, and today, 5/18/03 we received an invoice for the hose. We did not order any hose from these folks in the first place nor am I about to pay for something we did not order.
I went through this very same thing with my daughter about five years ago. I think it's a damned shame that a company that uses a large brand name item can operate in such a manner. I think they should be shut down. Think of the people who will send in their money thinking that they will get in some kind of trouble for not paying for things that they did not order.
I don't know who all is going to see this, bit I hope it goes to this marketing co. and someone from Silkies sees it also. This kind of fraud should be stopped!!! I'll not pay this invoice and if I receive any other correspondence I will consider it to be harassment.
