Wal-Mart Super Center, Tallahassee, FL - poor customer service experience

RE: Wal-Mart Super Center, Tallahassee, FL - poor customer service experience

On May 17th, 2003 around 10:30pm my boyfriend and I were grocery shopping at a Wal-Mart Super Center in Tallahassee. We usually shop at Publix, but because Publix was closed we decided to go to Wal-Mart. As we were going through the aisles, my boyfriend was pushing the cart and I was walking ahead shopping.

The Wal-Mart employees were restocking the shelves. An older male employee saw me walking and step out right in front of me and threw a box filled with food right in my path.

I had to stop dead in my tracks so I would not bump into him or the box of food. He did not even acknowledge that I was there and just stood there looking down. I moved around him and continued shopping. I must have been at Wal-Mart for two hours and not one employee greeted us, not even the cashier.

I like shopping at Wal-Mart because of their convenience and low prices, but I would strongly suggest that management take a close look at their lousy customer service.

I love Walmart... I enjoy it and it's great service. I love the fresh food- great selections and wonderful staff! I live in Tallahassee ( Our Walmarts are great!) Maybe that clerk was having a bad day or a death in the family.
