RE: Post Office, Keele St. and Dundas W., Toronto, Canada - overcharged for parcel shipment
HI: My complaint is this, i took a small parcel to the post office in the junction of Keele St. and Dundas W. , in west end Toronto.
She weighed it and said it would be 96cents. Then she said oh the parcel is too small, so I bought a bubble envelope from her, she took it and held it up to a plastic thing and said , it wont go through, and then charged me $6.80. the destination was 1771 Red Head rd. Saint John . N.B. E2P 1J5.
How can it jump from 96cents , to 6.80. I can't help it if your stamps are to big , the parcel was 3 inches, by 3 inches, there was lots of room for the postage. This has upset me, im on a disability, and its hard enough as it is to live on what i get. I sent the same size parcel to N.B. a while ago and it was only $1. and change. I really think I should be reinbursed. This lady was not fair. So I will await your reply. and Thank you Pat Pelletier
