Complaints.com received the following on May 17, 2003:

Purchased airline tickets on March 31, 2003 in the amount of $713.31 charged to my credit card. Tickets failed to arrive so I contacted Cheap Tickets again where I was informed their printer was broke and new tickets would be sent. No tickets arrived so I called again where I was told tickets would be at the airport. April 20, 2003 at 3:45pm I arrived at Newark Airport.
Alitalia informed me there were no tickets and called Cheap Tickets on my behalf who told them I lost my tickets. I was forced to purchase new tickets for the flight. Upon my return on May 1, 2003, I contacted Cheap Tickets for the tracking number to the tickets and then they admitted the tickets were never sent. In spite of that revelation I was told I could not receive a refund until I provide proof of purchase for the new ticket. I complied and sent them a copy of the receipt along with a letter of complaint on May 2, 2003.
As of May 13, 2003, Cheap Tickets claim to have not received my letter nor have I received any refund. I called and spoke with Jean at Cheap Tickets. She gave me a fax number and instructed me to fax the information. I tried to fax 3 times learning the number was not correct. They constantly give me wrong information. The first time I was provided with an incorrect zip code for the refund department. I am constantly given a run around with never any satisfaction.
