Hello!

I am Desiree from the Netherlands and I booked through Bookings.com a weekend package deal at the Aqua Lounge Hotel in Miami/South Beach.

This deal was advertised in January this year for 200 dollars friday through sunday, accomodation in a juniorsuite incl a bottle of champaign.

I have the e-mails to prove this.

The hotel was very rundown to begin with and very noisy but thats not even what I was upset about. Its what happend when we checked out on sunday: They charged us 452 dollars for this weekendpackage deal! When I asked him how that could be, the employee told us the 200 dollars was per night!

Which is ridiculous because on the same website they say that a one nights stay in their juniorsuite is 135 dollars and not 200!

Aqualounge hotel blames Bookings.com and I couldnt do anything about it because they already had my Visacard number.

We were in a hurry because we had to get going to our cruiseboat, so there wasnt enough time to complain more, but even if I had wanted to, the hotel employee didnt even wanted listen and made a fool out of me.

Its a shame that our holiday had to start like this. I was so angry and I thought it was so unfair but nobody wanted to listen to us and its hard to explain in a foreign language what you think. He didnt even wanted to see the e-mails which I brought with me just in case. For this amount of money I might as well booked the Hilton hotel instead of an old motel!

I hope you can do something with this complaint. It would make me feel so much better!
