RE: CVS Pharmacy, Rt. 197, Town Shopping Center, Laurel, MD - mistake made with prescription

I went to pick up my prescription from CVS Pharmacy May 3, 2003 and after taking the medication for 4 days realized that the prescription was incorrect. I went back to the Pharmacy to return the medication for the right one, only to be received by a uncaring, hostile Pharmacy that was unwilling to correct the situation.

When I decided that I would take the matter up with the Corporate Office, it took 7 days before I was able to get someone to talk with me. I was not given the care and attention that you would think should be given to a person who was the recipient of what could have been a more costly error. The Corporate Giants at CVS displayed the same attitude as the Pharmacist did, and to date, I still do not have the correct medication.

I am taking my complaint to the Medical Board of Pharmacy and filing a complaint against them, I encourage all others to do the same, it's a shame that mistakes like these are not taken more seriously, and I would like to prevent this from happening to any one else, especially someone who will not be able to speak up and be heard.

The CVS that I went to was in Laurel, MD on Rt 197 in the Town Center Shopping Center, please, make sure you check your prescription before taking them.
