My complaint is in regard to a Hotmail account that I've had since Feb. of 03. I forgot my password, so I was asking them to help me. Each password they sent to me, I entered many times into the acct. Each time my access was denied. Then I started cutting and pasting the password. Still it was denied.
Each support person continued to tell me that I was "making typing errors" and to try cutting and pasting the password. After 10 replies back and forth, I've still not been helped. I've even patiently given them every bit of information they've asked of me regarding the account numerous times, and requested that they let me choose a password and try that avenue. The biggest problem is this: when a complaint is submitted, the same Microsoft support person should handle the customer until the issue is resolved. Never once did I get a reply from the same person. So each time I've been sent a similar message. When I had reached my limit, I sent an email that said, "What are you going to do to help me?!" And since then I've been ignored. My only request is that they help me by letting ME re-select a password so that I can access my acct. Thank you for allowing me the chance to warn others about this problem.
