To Whom It May Concern: I am writing in the hope that you will be able to address my complaint about the the customer service at Compaq Computer Corporation. This has caused me a great deal of frustration. Here's why I'm writing. Here is the PERFECT EXAMPLE of Compaq's Customer Service Department. "We are not here to help you but I can transfer you to another useless person in my department or any of our many useless departments that cannot help you"!!! This is also based upon their customer service representative being able to say this to the customer in a language that the customer can comprehend!!!
Ohhhhh... in case you didn't know, almost every CSR from Compaq is from India or some other third world country in which the english language is secondary to there own language. In other words, good luck in trying to understand what they are trying to tell you! I will tell you this, my experiance in speaking to Compaq's CSR's who have a accent that is heavier then a Sumo wrestler has been impossible at times to understand. In closing, my experiances with Compaq has been extremly frustrating and to this day they still haven't fixed my problem with my Presario 1500 laptop that I purchased 7 months ago in which they have had 3 oppurtunities to fix the problem. Not only have they not fixed the problem but there hasn't been one single employee that will take some responsibility and see my problem through until it is resolved. My suggestion to any one that has dealt with similiar problems is to do the following: Contact Compaq's Customer Relations Department located at their corporat office in Texas. (281)370-0670. This is the ONLY WAY THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SPEAK TO A PERSON THAT WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE A DECISION ON THE SPOT!!! THE SAD THING IS THAT COMPAQ'S CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT WILL NEVER TELL YOU THIS. I HAPPENED TO LOCATE THIS NUMBER AND FIGURED IT OUT MYSELF. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE AND DO WHAT I JUST DID AND PURCHASE AN APPLE COMPUTER!!! I've been dissatisfied with your company in the past, so this doesn't surprise me. You should know that I don't plan to buy products from your company again. Also, I plan to tell my friends about this negative experience. LEARN HOW TO BUILD A RELIABLE COMPUTER FROM APPLE COMPUTERS!!! Thank you for taking the time to read this. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
