RE: GE Reveal 100 watt /120 volt light bulb - several of these bulbs only lasted two months GE came out with a 'revolutionary' new bulb a few months ago under the name of Reval.. While the blubs are pretty cool, they take away yellow light, I am not very happy with their quality.. They are considerably more expensive then the run of the mill generic bulb you can buy.. They do come with their own warranty however you must send in the UPC code and the original receipt. Thats kind of hard if you bought the bulbs two months ago and they burned out. Unfortunatly I dont save my grovery store receipts nor do I save light bulb packaging. I bout 4 bulbs to put into my overhead fan, and after approx. two months later 2 of the 4 have burned out. I keep my lights on an average amount of time. I bought these bulbs to replace the bulbs that came with the apartment I rented 7 months prior. I donno... Spending extra money on bulbs that only last two months? Sounds kinda stupid.. Ill stick to buying the generic ones that cost 50-60% less... Also, before the bulbs burned out, I bought some of the 40 watt bathroom bulbs by the same name.. One I purchased has a defect on the bottom of the bulb that would not let it fit all the way into the socket, thus not light. Quality control????? Im still waiting for my refund on that per their warranty Maybe I will stick to the generic bulbs, at least they last... Ron Clark aurora, co 80012
