RE: CCS Skateboards - not all parts delivered for skateboard order - trouble with late delivery, customer service

Ordered Starlight Medium 2 complete skateboard from CCS on May 13, 2002 for $103.99. Received only the deck on May 18, 2002 and immediately called customer service.

The CSR, Anthony Roberto, said all required hardware, risers, trucks, wheels, etc... would be expressed mailed immediately. As of may 28th we still haven't received the items and found out that they were boxed up still in their warehouse.

After talking to Scott Toepfer, the CSR supervisor, we were told that we were one of thousands of customers and they wouldn't be able to help us. We then spoke to the shipping supervisor, Bernie Miller and he said that his hands were tied and was unable to help us.

All we wanted was for them to express ship the items so they would arrive in time for our sons birthday in 5 days. For a high profile company who prides themselves on excellent products and great service we are very disappointed.

Especially when you're told that you're only spending $104.00 and they don't really care about you as a consumer. Friends recommended them to us but I really can't do the same. I would recommend SKATEAMERICA and A1 SKATEBOARDS though.

I hope others have better luck with CCS. As for us, were done dealing with them.
