JD Byryder - CNAC in Mesa, Arizona - getting run around about licensing of car

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on May 26, 2002:

From: Email User RE: JD Byryder - CNAC in Mesa, Arizona - getting run around about licensing of car

I would like to file a formal complaint with your company about the car dealership I purchased my vehicle through, I have been waiting over two months for my license plates, I have been getting the run around from their manager in charge of licensing and registration ( Michael)-

I received a telephone call to bring my car into the dealership at my convenience for an out of state inspection which I found out from the sales manager that it was to happen before it even left the lot before the car was sold to me, I in turn drove the 45 miles each way to take the car in on the very next day to have this inspection done in turn I was to recieve my plates the very next day- only to get another story that they hadnt been ordered and I also found out that they had never been ordered in the first place,

I had been driving around on a very expired temporary plate in which the Arizona police department told me that I would be ticketed for- I was also told by numerous people at the dealership (Michael, Erin, Becky Anderson, and the entire service department) that " The Arizona Police Department knows that the DMV was slow so it is ok, you wont be pulled over" - which is wrong I spoke with a detective and he said that was the craziest thing he had ever heard.

So here I am two months later and still no license plates, I am tired of the games and the run around from this establishment and would like something done about their arrogance and laziness and trying to treat their customers like they are stupid and they are doing us a favor.
