Olympus Servicing L.P. of Austin Texas, AKA Calmco Servicing L.P., in my opinion, does not appear to have a clue in regards to operating a business. Calmco purchased my morgage contract from Mid-West in June of 2001. All payments were made, with the exception of December of 2001, which was overlooked, my sister-in-law died. Jan. and Feb. 2002 payments were made as was March 2002, March payment was returned due to a mistake in the amount payable. Reissued another check, it was returmed, not enough money. The next thing is a forecloser notice taped to the door. I contacted (Oscar Velasquez) the so called, Loan Resolution Counsellor, at Olympus, asked what was going on. They informed me no payments had been made, and they were going to foreclose. I sent my cancelled check stubs (copies) and they will not respond. Told , Oscar, that I will not make another payment, untill they give me a statement of the payments, that I have made on the Account, He Could not say what had been paid, what was owed,or the standing of the Account. I think Oscar needs to find a source of employment that is not over his head. I have offered to make the payments, that I do owe, Olympus must cancel the bogus finance charges, this resulted in another notice to foreclose. They refuse to send me copies of anything I have asked for. I receieve my mail at a P.O. Box, rather than at the Physical Address because of mail box thieves. Olympus, has my P.O. Box number, and has had it for some time, but they refuse to use it. They have been in violation of the morgage contract since they purchased it. They have refused to pay the Insurance and the taxes, claiming that they are not responsible for them. The list goes on and on. I would like to communicate with other people who are stuck with Olympus Servicing, a Class Action Law suite appears to be in order. I have filed a complaint to the, Austin BBB ( Olympus has quite a dismisal performance record), and the Texas, Attorney Generals Office.
