From: COMPLAINTS.COM_FORM_MAIL_27220# RE: Pep Boys - not honoring warranty - labor portion - for driver's side window repair
Pep Boys told us to buy our driver's side window motor as they were not able to provide one. They installed it and said they would warranty their labor for 90 days or 4,000 miles.
The window stopped working within the 90 days...we had a 1 year warranty on the motor...we got a replacement warranty and brought it back to Pep Boys and then refused to honor the LABOR WARRANTY. We were told the contract states if they don't provide the part..they don't warranty it...WRONG...
They then admitted it does not state that, but they refused to release the car unless we paid for another installation....help....LET US ALL MAKE PEP BOYS LIVE UP TO THEIR CONTRACTS,
