Ladies and Gentlemen:
My second visit to "Fashion Bug" in Tulsa/Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (71st and Garnett St.) was exactly the same as the first experience.
I entered the store around 4 p.m. and am the only customer. I browse the Jr/Misses section a good 5 minutes. There were 3 employees behind the counter. One was having a very loud personal phone conversation, the other standing there, and the last one (had met her on the first visit) was holding a friend's baby. I had made eye contact with the employees several times and they knew I was there.
Now, here's why I'm taking the time to write this. I'm in the store at least 5 minutes with no customer acknowledgement or offer to help me locate anything. A man walks in the front door and all of the sudden from behind the register I hear "May I help you, sir?" and the employee (blonde, about 18-20 years old) bends over backwards to assist him. Another lady came in the store after him but, was never greeted.
What's wrong with this picture?
I believe that customers and good customer service (as simple as a short "hello") can make or break a business. I have worked in retail for years and know this as a fact.
Obviously, these young ladies do not care about customers (women, I assume) or what they project for "Fashion Bug". I'm sure this is not always the case, but, it was an EXACT replay of my first visit.
If I could have found an "on-line customer service or contact email" for this company I would have posted my complaint with them, but no listing was found.
Maybe that is just the start of the company's problem.
