Complaints.com received the following consumer message on May 20, 2002:

RE: Circulation II, Inc magazine subscription not received - can't find how to contact company

 

I have placed on order for the magazine subscription for 20 issues from a sales person who was sent from "CIRCULATION II, INC. It was supposed to be a gift for my daughter.

 

On 12/14/2001, the sales representative knocked our door and explained about a special offer of kid's magazines and I filled out the order form and gave him a check in the amount of $40.00. He told me that I will receive the first issue about in two weeks and as of today, (after 5 months past from the date of order) I have not recieved it.

 

On a copy of customer receipt, it is saying that "your first issue should be received within 120 days"

After 120 days, I could not wait any longer ( Because my check has been already cashed on 12/19/02 which is about 4 months ago) so I have tried to fax a letter to this company since there was no phone number on the receipt.

 

The fax number has been disconnected and I have sent a letter by mail ( POBOX) and it was returned due to "box closed"

 

Their web address is www.cir2.com and there are no information that I can find to contact them.

I am a single parent and just tried to suprise my daughter and wanted to see her smile when she received her favorite magazine.

 

Please advise if there is anything that I can can do to solve this problem.
