RE: Dollar Rent-A-Car - fraudulent insurance charge of $ 113.94 in LDW I rented an SUV from Dollar in January 2002. Despite repeatedly denying insurance coverage, I was charged $113.94 in LDW (loss/damage/waiver). I have sent two written requests, and have made three verbal requests - and have had each denied. I am requesting reimbursement of this charge, and 2 days free rental from Dollar. The rep told me to initial it after he crossed it out at the counter. Apparently, as long as I initialed it, it's valid. Customer Service was no help. Apparently, they must rip people off as lot. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DOLLAR, IT WILL BE MORE EXPENSIVE AS THEY TRY TO SCREW YOU.
