RE: FedEx website shipping rates - upset about overcharges
FedEx's website is a pure scam. Typical bait & switch tactics. This has happened to me at least 1/2 the time I try to ship something by FedEx ground:
RE: Bill #045762934815862. Their website showed 4.5 pounds from 66202 to 69190, my packaging, drop off at their terminal, $200 declared value @ $4.88. I drive an extra 10 miles out of the way, one way, to ship it from their main terminal & they actually charged me $7.74. I'm ashamed to admit that I was in a hurry & went ahead & paid it. This is also typical, I have 3 inquiries going on over-charges: They REFUSE to respond to email. If you call them, customer service transfers you to the internet team, and they transfer you back to customer
service. An Endless RUN AROUND. FedEx stinks & WILL rip you off: BEWARE of FedEx internet rates and FedEx for individual consumers in general! Steve Johnson/Kansas City
