_____________________ My husband has had a Visa account with this company for 5 years. He has been at his credit limit for about that long. One reason is they are constantly charging for every thing they can. Late payments, over the limit (which you get because of the late payments).
I just spoke with customer service rep because our bill for May has a late payment charge from April. In March we made 2 payments but this month the payment was received late so they charged a late charge even though last month there were 2 payments made. My feelings is that 1 of the March payments could have been considered an early payment. She said that it had to be received after 3/27 to be considered for April. It was received on 3/21.
Something is wrong with this picture. We will never be able to get this paid off. We are trying. It is not like we are not.My husband has been laid off since September and we have been using the credit insurance premium to pay our payment and that is $24 a month. When we can make a payment extra, we do. There are a lot of people who don't pay them. I think from time to time, you credit card people need to reassess your rules. We are not rich and my husband made a terrible mistake by using this card. If we ever get it paid, we will never have anything that has MBNA on it.
If you have to stay in business from poor people like us, that is too bad.
