Travel, Airlines - Northwest Airlines lousy compensation for flight delayed four hours

RECENTLY I FLEW WITH NORTHWEST FROM LAX TO MEMPHIS TENN. WHEN WE TRIED LEAVING LAX WE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE HYDRAULICS, WHICH TOOK ABOUT AN HOUR TO REPAIR. WHEN WE STARTED TO TAXI OUT WE THEN HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE COMPUTER. NOW WE HAD TO WAIT FOR A GATE TO GET IT REPAIRED. THEY THOUGHT THEY HAD IT REPAIRED, BUT WHEN WE WENT OUT AGAIN THE PILOT SAID IT DIDN'T WORK AND WE STILL HAVE TROUBLE WITH THE COMPUTER. NOW WE HAD TO WAIT FOR ANOTHER GATE AGAIN.
WE MESSED AROUND WITH THIS PLANE FOR FOUR (4) HOURS. WE HAD TO GET OFF THIS PLANE AND HOPE THEY HAD ANOTHER FOR US.
THEY TRIED TO MAKE UP FOR THE INCONVIENCE BY GIVING US CERTIFICATES. ONE WAS FOR FIVE OR TEN DOLLAR PHONE CARD, ANOTHER WAS FOR TEN DOLLARS TO EAT, WHICH WAS NICE EXCEPT FOR ONE THING THEY WERE EXPIRED!!!!!!
I DO WANT TO THANK THE PILOT FOR NOT TAKING ANY CHANCES WITH THAT PLANE. BUT I THINK WE COULD HAVE GOTTEN SOMETHING A LITTLE BETTER FOR OUR INCONVIENCE
