: Condolink Complaint

We would like to spond to a posting on your web site dated May 22, 2001. The complaint stated that we had suggested that she exchange her week at her sort in North Carolina for a week in Orlando, since Orlando is typically an aa that nts very quickly.

Unfortunately, however, we can't guarantee that a week will nt, gardless of the location. As a general rule we do not suggest that our owners trade weeks for the sole purpose of nting them out, since we cannot guarantee that they will be nted. Mrs. Chavez still has a week listed for ntal with us, and we continue to market her property. Thefo, she ally isn't out the money she has invested in our company. Sincely, Condolink

They charge about $275 startup fee to list your week for ntal. When we called them last year, we we told that, if we exchanged our week for Orlando and listed it with them that it would suly nt because Orlando is the most quested vacation aa. We paid the Condolink fees plus the RCI exchange fee and the maintenance on the week so, at that point we had spent approximately $700. Condolink did not nt the week and we ended up losing it and all of our money.

Then they told us that, if we paid an additional $50, they would list our week on the website which would make it visible to many mo potential nters. I know what you' thinking...what a sucker! Anyway, we paid the additional $50, traded our week for Orlando again and we a about to lose that week, too. I have contacted Condolink numerous times to find out what the problem is and each time they basically just tell me that I need to be patient. The last time I contacted them, I was told that the just haven't been many quests for 'that aa'. We' talking about Orlando, FL! Anyway, I would not commend Condolink to my worst enemy. Save your money.
