Craftmatic adjustable bed - don't find bed comfortable - description of bed purchase and use

The salesman showed up at my home with his briefcase in hand, but there was no bed. He had me watch a video about the

craftmatic adjustable bed.

After I watched the video, I did think that this kind of bed might be just what I need. However, after the salesman showed the prices of the beds to me, I decided that I did not want to spend that kind of money on one. The salesman then called his boss and talked with him for a few minutes. He offered me the deluxe model at a price which was nearly $2,000 lower.

I asked him what happens if there is something wrong with the bed or with me getting used to the bed. He said that I would just need to call the toll free number. A week after the bed was delivered, I called the toll free number. The bed was just not comfortable at all. So, I was sent a new mattress. Three weeks ago, I called Craftmatic again to complain about this bed.

After a week I still had not heard back from them, so I called Craftmatic again. This time, they offered to send me a bed pillow which would cover the entire top part of the mattress. That was two weeks ago and I have not

gotten anything from them. The $94 a month that they want me to pay was about $40 more per month than they had offered. I do not want this bed and I do not want to pay for it.

If I could get compensation for all the nights that I have not got a good night's sleep, I would use the money to buy a decent bed for much less money. Craftmatic adjustable beds are highly over-rated and the promotional video is misleading, in my opinion. Instead of getting the best sleep of my life, I am falling asleep at inopportune times from sheer exhaustion.
