Sears / JC Penny's Credit Cards - responsible for charges made by ex-boyfriend - no help given from JC Penny or Sears

RE: Sears / JC Penny's Credit Cards - responsible for charges made by ex-boyfriend - no help given from JC Penny or Sears Several years ago an ex-boyfriend took retribution on me when I broke up and took my credit cards for Sears, JC Penny's and a Master Card and went to the various stores and charged my credit cards to the max on all of them. When I realized what had happened, I immeadiately called all the appropriate places, and let them know and I was helped immeadiately with my Master Card and the checking account he had emptied out.

I had notified JC Penny's and told them what had happened and they said get together what I knew were my charges and bring the receipts in to customer service, so I did, and when I got there no-one would help me. I went home and called again and no-one would help me. I have been trying to fight it ever since. Sears was even worse, they said that it was too bad, but I am still responsible for the charges. I have written letters to everyone I could think of to help me. I have been wanting to buy a house, and because of these 2 credit cards, I cannot get a house, or even get credit to get my learning disabled child a computer. At one point I even contacted the 2 companies, and told them I would just pay the amounts off and they told me I would have to pay for everything even the un-godly amount of money they have charged as interest from the collection companies.
