Hi, Re: Discover card I mailed payment for Dec several days before it was due. I guess due to mail volume it was late. I owed $66.30. They charged me $30.00 for being late. Called customer service spoke with Bob. Told him I was a customer for 15 years. "I can't do anything" "you were late and that is it.". I called another rep, she took care of the problem. Last month I had finance charges applied to account, I called @ this. Rep said what is your accnt number? I told her "it should be on your screen". What is your name she asked, I told her my name and told her my address in addition. @ half way into the street address she just hung up on me. I think I called customer rudeness not customer service. I am @ 90 % certain I will cancel my account. Who needs this kind of treatment?
