This is a short letter I have recently e-mailed this place in Miami, Fl handling rebates for the Visioneer 5800 scanner I purchased from Office Max in NOVEMBER of 2002. Be sure to keep in mind I was told I sent the wrong UPC code from the box the product came in. Also I have resubmitted it since in the allotted time and still could not tell you what my tracking number is! Be weary of who your dealing with on the rebate before you buy a Visioneer product. If it these people in Miami or Dallas BEWARE! They know I sent my rebate in the first time now there trying to tell me they can't honor because the promotion has closed. Something's fishy!

This is to Email User who controls rebates for Office Max and Visioneer

When I purchased my Visioneer scanner, I purchased this scanner with the promise of a rebate. Now this being my first experience with rebates I have found it to be a tragic and very disappointing and frustrating one. First of all I will contact the Better Businesses Bureau about this. secondly I will be sure and put the word out not do business with anyone who processes rebates out of Miami, Fl or Dallas TX. Being a small business entrepreneur, I will also make sure anyone and everyone I come into contact with know about my experience.

And finally being the son of a successful Retail Manager for a Business Weekly top 25 company I will be sure to let him know. I sent a resubmission in with the correct UPC code and I do not care if Visioneer has closed the deal you need to find a way to cure this problem! I pulled my end of the stick now you pull yours. I do not appreciate being warded off like this! I wish that your business does not suffer loss due to your pathetic service and disclaimers or whatever. I am a believer in God and the only peace I get out of this is knowing that he will deal with you accordingly, not me!

So have a nice day because you sure have ruined mine! Thanks

Best wishes in your future attempts on pleasing your customers

R. Turner
