RE: Atlanta KIA, Campbellton Rd., Atlanta, GA - poor experience at car dealership

Hey everyone I had one of the most horrible experience with a car dealership; On Oct. 07, 2002 I wanted a newer or better car than the one I had purchased ever since I purchase it there were problems every 3 months and paying so much money to fix..

So I called the salesman Mr. Clifton Harper at the Atlanta Kia on Campbellton Rd., I asked him if they had any newer vehicle been the Kia Sephia they sold me had too many issues, he said yes come by he had 2 new cars a 2002 Mitsubishi Galant Grey in color and a top of the line Kia brand in blk. dont remember the name but anyway, I ask him about the mileage on both of them he said the Mitsubishi Galant is a better one he could put me in and that the mileage is low's 6000 I said ok. I'll be there shortly.

So I got there and waited for like 3 hours before they brought the car to me he said the had it detailing, when I saw the car I was excited and impressed I like what I saw on the way for a test drive I checked mileage make sure is what he had told me which I saw low's 6000.

We hit the road and came back to the dealership so he did the figures and came up with higher than we talked about few weeks ago I wanted low's monthly payments $380's or so he came up with $434.80 I said !WoW! thats higher than what we talk about before.

He said well dont you want a reliable and good car I said yes so I agreed to pay the amount monthly been it's a good car I thought, couple days I had filled my gas tank and notice the gas was going down pretty fast in 3 days I kept filling my tank, so I called the dealership and spoke to Mr. Harper abt. it and I said something doesn't seems right, he pretty much ignore me and next in like 2wks.

I went to do oil change and notice on my receipt mileage read 29,000 I said wait a minute when I purchase the car it had low's 6000 mileage now it read 29,000 mileage I called salesman again told him the problem he said the mileage is where it needs to be at 27,000 and I put the 2,000 on it I said thats not what you told me the mileage was and also thats not what I saw when I test drove the vehicle..he said you put those mileage on there..I said thats impossible I did not travel anywhere but to work and my job is 10mts. or less from my home..I decide to get a Lawyer been this were getting no where.

The salesman told me to call the bodyshop department and speak to Randy I called and they told me they had inventory and dont know when they will open, he said you can call any Mitsubishi Dealership to ask them to fix the problem I call them and they ask me what was the mileage on the vehicle I told them they said your warrantie expires at 30,000 mileage so I'll have to pay for repair. I called back the Kia dealership and they said they were having inventory and dont know when they will open again..

I said I need to talk to someone there he said every body left the dealership and they were closing down..so my Lawyer contact them and later Mr. Randolph Sitz called me said hey let us settle this by you returning the vehicle and we will give your old car back and your money . I took veh. back then they gave me my money back so next thing I was getting billed from both finance company I said what is going on..I called them and told them the problem they said I am responsible for payments on vehicle that I returned.

I didn't know what to do so I called the "Call For Action News Media"for some help and she could not get a hold of no one the body shop kept transferring her to voicemail.

So I wrote to the Governors Affairs and they wrote to the dealership and had a private Investigator checked the Odometer for tampering, next thing I heard nothing from no one so I finally got some response from the Call for Action News Media she said she spoke to someone in Finance Dept. and they told her I had Repossess on the account she said why if you'll told her to bring vehicle back, they said they dont know anything about that. S

Thanks you'll for listening.
