KFC, corner of Cedar and Taylor, Cleveland Heights, OH - no wings available

Today is March 29, 2003 . I went to the KFC in Cleveland Heights Ohio on the corner of Cedar and Taylor at dinnertime which was around 5:30. The warming bins were empty and the oven warmers were empty also.

I was told it would be about a 20 minute wait and that I couldn't have wings on my order because the man ahead of me was waiting for what was in the fryer. I said "you mean to tell me that I have to wait 20 minutes for the chicken and still not get any wings".The cashier said that was correct that they had no chicken made.

This is the second time at that location that this happened. The other time was at lunch when I was told that they only had legs until the truck came in that afternoon. What kind of manager lets there supply get down to nothing. Another time at the same location I asked for wings instead of legs and the server said no, I told her I would pay extra if I had to but she said that there wasn't enough.

The lady behind me was obviously her friend and ordered the family meal with extra wings and got it. I have never had good service at that location but now they don't even have the food. I went to the South Euclid location and got what I wanted with no problem.

This particular store on Cedar needs to be looked into for quality and service. If I want anything I have to drive further out. But whoever owns the store needs to be aware of how much revenue is lost by their incompitance.
