RE: Intuit Quickbooks - will no longer support payroll processing and tax table updates for QuickBooks 2000 Pro - don't want to upgrade

My complaint is as follows:

The letter received states that your firm will no longer support the payroll processing and tax table udates for my Quick Books 2000 Pro. It states that my firm will be "out of compliance", and that my company will be at risk.

From what it doesn't say, but I assume the IRS. Even though you have a generic statement that your services could change in you license agreement, I feel it is very wrong to sell a product that will only be supported for three years.

I have paid my subscription to the tax table service for as long as I have had Quick Books. I will continue to pay the subscription even if I do the upgrade to you 2003 version. We also pay a support fee which covers any technical issues.

It seems wrong that I have to upgrade when the program is sufficient for my needs. The payroll function is the the only item the upgrade will make any difference in our use of the program.
